Yorkshire’s famous small brass group, with years of rich musical history – we are “The musical ensemble!”

In 1996, three friends (who were then playing with Championship brass bands in Yorkshire) decided to pool their talents and formed LB Brass.

The name of the Group is the combination of the three founders’ surnames and coincidentally, our sponsor, L B Freight in Halifax.

The Group now has ten well established, semi- professional musicians, capable of providing a wide variety of music for all tastes, occasions and venues.

We regularly perform at Religious as well as Civil wedding ceremonies, corporate garden parties, birthday celebrations and formal concerts in churches and cathedrals, with choirs, orchestras as well as unaccompanied.
